Our History

The Kota Bhargava Sabha was established with a vision to unite, empower, and preserve the heritage of the Bhargava community in Kota. Since its inception, the Sabha has been at the forefront of organizing cultural events, supporting community welfare, and maintaining the rich traditions passed down through generations.

Our journey began with a small group of dedicated community members who recognized the need for a formal organization to address the social, cultural, and economic needs of the Bhargava families in Kota. Our Constitution

The Constitution of Kota Bhargava Sabha serves as the guiding framework for all our activities and governance. It ensures transparency, accountability, and democratic functioning of the organization.

Core Principles

1. Unity and Inclusiveness We believe in bringing together all members of the Bhargava community, regardless of their social or economic status, to work towards common goals.

2. Cultural Preservation The Sabha is committed to preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage, traditions, rituals, and values of the Bhargava lineage.

3. Community Welfare Our constitution mandates active involvement in the welfare of community members, including educational support, social assistance, and crisis management.

Organizational Structure

The Sabha operates through an elected Executive Committee consisting of:

• President: Provides overall leadership and represents the Sabha in external forums
• Vice President: Assists the President and acts in their absence
• General Secretary: Manages day-to-day operations and correspondence
• Treasurer: Oversees financial management and accounts
• Executive Members: Contribute to various committees and programs

Membership

Membership is open to all individuals belonging to the Bhargava community. The constitution defines two types of membership:

Lifetime Membership: A one-time contribution that grants permanent membership status and voting rights.

Annual Membership: Renewable yearly membership with the same privileges as lifetime members during the validity period.

Objectives

As per our constitution, the key objectives of the Sabha include:

1. Promoting unity, brotherhood, and mutual cooperation among community members
2. Organizing religious, cultural, and social programs
3. Providing educational assistance to deserving students
4. Supporting community members during times of need

Amendments

The constitution can be amended through a special resolution passed by a two-thirds majority of the general body present at a duly convened meeting. This ensures that the constitution remains relevant while protecting it from arbitrary changes.
